The Borough has an eight member full time police department dispatched by Union County Communications Center and with available 911 service. The Milton Borough Police Department is located at 1 Filbert St, Milton, PA 17847 in the former Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Station. The non-emergency number is 570-742-8757.
Mission
We, the members of the Milton Police Department, believe in the shared responsibility of police personnel, government leaders and citizens to improve Milton’s quality of life and to defend our community. We vow to uphold the U.S. Constitution, to fairly enforce the laws of Pennsylvania and Milton Borough ordinances in order to protect life, property and rights. In partnership with the community, we will engage in policing to maintain order, reduce crime and the fear of crime through education, prevention and enforcement.
